April is such an amazing month. When the sun begins to shine a bit brighter and the flowers start sprouting out of the ground it is easy to get in the mood for wedding season. I can DEFINITELY feel the start of wedding season. In the first 3 days of April, I had 3 weddings and a floral crown workshop. Its safe to say I was busy and settled quite quickly into a flower trance.
I wanted to share some pictures of wedding #1 - Susanna and Thor.
I really enjoyed creating Susanna's flowers for her special day. Susanna went for a very delicate and romantic look which complimented their beautiful and relaxed ceremony.
Her bouquet was amazingly scented with sweet smelling 'Tiara' roses and citrus wax flower. The colours were perfectly pastel and rustic. I loved the different mix of foliages together to create a very wild and romantic look. The twine banding Susanna requested complimented the overall style effortlessly. The buttonholes were equally wild and rustic and added to the simple and rustic style.
I really enjoyed creating Susanna's flowers and adding to what was already a beautiful day. I'm excited that another bride has chosen a very similar colour scheme and style for her wedding in September. Bring it on!
